A leading children’s hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician for a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist role. This permanent position offers varied shift coverage (combination of in-house and call-from-home), working on a 46-bed pediatric floor with an average daily census of 25–30 patients. The position is supported by a robust team of pediatric specialists including PICU, NICU, and pediatric emergency providers.
Job Responsibilities
• Participate in a rotating schedule including night, weekend, and on-call coverage
• Work alongside a collaborative team of pediatric hospitalists and subspecialists
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain hospital case logs
• Opportunity to participate in academic teaching and mentoring (optional)
Qualifications
• Active Nevada medical license or willingness to obtain – REQUIRED
• DEA and Nevada CSR/CDS licenses – MUST be obtained prior to start
• At least 1 year of recent inpatient hospitalist experience – REQUIRED
• Ability to provide 12 months of hospital case logs during interview – REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and license history – Highly Preferred
• Not accepting candidates who need visa sponsorship or who have lapsed board certification
• Not a locums position
