Lead and manage a pediatric hospitalist team at a well-established hospital, providing high-quality pediatric care including newborn nursery and NICU support. The role offers 24/7 on-call coverage with a round-and-go model, fostering collaborative care with neonatologists and hospitalists.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide newborn nursery care with NICU backup
• Perform pediatric consultations and circumcisions
• Manage 24/7 on-call coverage, mainly from home (approx. 7 shifts/month)
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and clinical research
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Qualifications
• Valid Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain
• DEA license (must be obtained before start)
• Prior leadership experience preferred
