🏥 Position Description
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, starting January 2026. This role is ideal for physicians looking for flexible scheduling, excellent support staff, and a manageable patient volume in an inpatient pediatric and newborn setting.
- Location: Altru Hospital – 1200 S Columbia Rd, Grand Forks, ND
- Start Date: January 2026 – Ongoing
- Schedule: 1–2 weeks per month
- Shift Structure: 24-hour pager call (7 AM – 7 AM), 7 days/week
- On-site presence not required during call
- Setting: Inpatient Pediatrics & Newborn/Nursery Units
- Beds: 18 pediatric/newborn + 5 nursery beds
- Average Census: ~8 patients/day
📋 Requirements
- Board Certification: Pediatrics (Required)
- Experience with procedures: Lumbar punctures, circumcisions (Required)
- Technology: Familiarity with Vocera Edge (Preferred)
- Licensure: Active and unrestricted license (ND preferred or willing to obtain)
