Job Description:

  • Provide high-quality pediatric emergency care in a busy, 30-bed pediatric ER with volumes approaching 55,000 patients annually
  • Collaborate closely with Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams
  • Participate in a supportive environment with child life specialists and pediatric social workers integrated into ER care
  • Contribute to teaching and mentorship of pediatric, emergency medicine, and family practice residents, as well as Pediatric ER fellows
  • Work full-time, covering twelve 12-hour shifts per month
  • Utilize full scribe coverage to enhance efficiency and patient care quality
  • Engage with affiliated Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions

Submission Requirement:
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED
  • Valid Nevada Medical License or willingness to obtain - REQUIRED
  • Clean malpractice and license history - HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Current or recent inpatient hospital experience - REQUIRED
