👶$2800 (Negotiable): Locum Pediatric Hospitalist | 24-Hour On-Call Coverage |Tiffin, OH | July 2025 & Ongoing

Position Type: Locum Tenens, 24-hour On-Call Pediatric Hospitalist
Specialty: Pediatrics / Neonatology

📅 Open Coverage Dates (24-hour call):

• July 3 – 8

• July 15 – 20

• Ongoing need

Emergency Temporary Privileges possible for providers with a clean background, active OH license & DEA.

🏥 Caseload & Patient Mix:

• 90% Newborns

• 5% Pediatric

• 5% Adolescents

• Avg Daily Census: 3-4 newborns, 0-1 pediatric patient every 2 months

• Medical students may observe rounds with newborn patients

📍 Location Requirement:

Provider must live or be able to stay within 30 minutes of the hospital for rapid response.

🛠️ Required Skills & Experience:

• Newborn care experience – Required

• X-ray interpretation – Required

• Circumcision – Required

• Umbilical venous/arterial catheter (UVC/UAC) – Highly preferred

✅ Submission & Credentialing Requirements:

• Board Certified preferred, but Board Eligible within 5 years of residency considered

• Active Ohio State Medical License or IMLC with LOQ at submission

• Active Ohio DEA registration

• BLS, NRP certification – Required

• Must be available for all listed July open dates

• All credential details must be clearly noted during name clear to avoid redirection
