- Other Details: A facility in Maryland is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist (MD or DO) for a high-priority, part-time opportunity beginning June 21, 2025. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible (ABMS boards accepted), with a minimum of three years of experience, and must hold an active Maryland license and CSR at the time of application—IMLC not accepted. Required certifications include PALS, NRP, and any other specialty-specific credentials. The role involves covering 12-hour inpatient shifts and supporting emergency department consults, with options for 12- or 24-hour shifts from June 21 through July 18, 2025 (7a–7p and 7p–7a), including weekdays and weekends. Additional dates will be announced. Providers will work solo, without call responsibilities, and use EPIC for charting. Coverage includes general pediatric admissions, pediatric consults on surgery admissions, nursery and special care nursery care, attending high-risk deliveries, and ED consults.

Job Responsibilities
* Support emergency department consults
* Manage general pediatric admissions and consults on pediatric surgery admissions
* Attend to nursery and special care nursery patients
* Participate in high-risk deliveries
* Document all patient encounters using EPIC EMR
Qualifications
* Board certified or board eligible (ABMS accepted)
* Minimum of 3 years of pediatric hospitalist experience
* Certifications required: PALS and NRP
* DEA license required
* Must be eligible for full or temporary privileges
Working Hours
* Coverage needed from June 21 through July 18, 2025
* Shift times: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
* Available for day, night, and/or weekend shifts
* No call responsibilities
Skills
* Skilled in attending high-risk deliveries and managing nursery care
* Ability to work independently during solo shifts
* Proficient in using EPIC for charting and documentation
* Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
