About the role:

Onsite Neonatal at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA provides 24/7 in-house coverage with no on-call commitment. In partnership with hospitals, our neonatology programs are grounded in evidence-based medicine and are built for safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Unit facts:
  • Level II NICU
  • 3,000 deliveries
  • 24-hour shifts, in-house

Job Responsibilities

Our pediatricians are an integral part of our neonatal care team, working alongside our Neonatologists, who are in-house 24/7. At Candler, you will work in a collaborative environment that empowers you to use your passion and skills. You will attend high-risk deliveries and transports, provide coverage in the well-newborn nursery, and work side-by-side with the neonatologist to manage patients in our level II NICU.
