We are working with Dignity Health at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, CA, to help fulfill their need for Pediatric Hospitalist call coverage. St. Elizabeth Community Hospital is a hospital that offers many services, including orthopedics and a family birth center. Pediatric Hospitalist
• Seeking 24hr call coverage:
- June 4-13
- June 26-30
- 5-10 shifts per month ongoing beginning in July
• Duties include providing care for 0-18y/o patients, standby/on call for emergency or complicated C-sections, ED call for pediatric patients
• On call for ER (consults only) and inpatient floor
• Neonatal resuscitation required
• Average 3-5 pediatric and 4-10 newborn admits per day
• No PICU or NICU – patients are managed until able to transfer to higher level of care
• Codes run by ER physicians
• Does not attend deliveries; see patients once admitted to well-baby nursery
• Support Staff includes RN staff
• Specialty backup includes ER, Neonatology, Oncology, Cardiology, Neuro, Ortho
• Cerner EMR
• Active CA license and DEA required
• BLS, and PALS or NPR required
• $2000 per 24hr call with 4 hour gratis
• $225 per hour for any hours worked in facility over 4 hours
