Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity - Albuquerque, NM
Presbyterian Healthcare Services is a large community healthcare system in New Mexico seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dynamic and collegial team. We provide 24/7 inpatient care for children with both routine and complex medical conditions. We operate a pediatric sedation service, sedating pediatric patients for noninvasive medical procedures and imaging studies. We provide in-person and telemedicine consultative services for our on-site emergency department(s), urgent care locations and outlying facilities. In addition to pediatric care, we manage a newborn nursery, attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation/stabilization as needed.
The Pediatric Hospitalist Service is a vital program in an established, respected and growing non-profit community healthcare system. This position offers excellent work/life balance, interesting pathology, the opportunity to care for pediatric patients of all ages (newborns to young adults) and a wide range of acuity with full support from our PICU, NICU and sub-specialists.

- 24x7 intensivist support provided by NICU and PICU.
- Thriving pediatric subspecialty group including pediatric cardiology, endocrinology (ADA recognized diabetes program), GI, nephrology, neurology, pediatric surgery, behavioral medicine, pulmonology, hematology/oncology, and chronic care.
- Co-located inpatient and outpatient services – centralized program in flagship hospital with comprehensive lab and ancillary services and a brand-new physician lounge, gym, and easy access parking.
- Systemwide EPIC electronic medical record system with dedicated onsite support
