Cross Country Locums (formerly MDA) is seeking Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist provider for locums coverage in Vermont. Below are the details:
Dates: ASAP - 8 weeks
Desired Schedule:
First Call: 2 - 12 hr night shifts 7p - 7a (within 30 minutes of hospital) available at all times by phone for guidance and support
Secondary Call: 3 - 24 hours 7a- 7a (within 30 minutes of hospital) available at all times by phone for guidance and support
Worksite Setting:
Inpatient
Community Hospital
Patients Per Day: 3 avg
375 births/year avg
Beds: 34 adult / 10 Pediatrics and labor and delivery (shared)
Support Staff: PNP's RT's, RN's, MA's
Scope of Work:
Responsible for a combination of back up call (phone consultation, in person as needed) and primary call coverage to allow for Ped NP respite
lots of respiratory issues; newborn rounding
Requirements:
Experience with Newborns required
MD/DO, BC or BE
BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, State Controlled Substance (or DEA), Other: BLS, PALS
EMR/EHR system: Meditech
Privileging Process: Temps available
Travel/Housing Notes: YES, covered
Malpractice Covered A++
