Responsibilities (Outpatient Hem/Onc)

• Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology evaluation and management, including new consultations and follow-up care
• Develop and oversee evidence-based cancer treatment plans, coordinating care across the multidisciplinary oncology team
• Collaborate with infusion nursing, medical assistants, and dedicated oncology pharmacists to support safe chemotherapy administration and patient education
• Participate in weekly tumor boards and contribute to coordinated cancer care planning
• Support shared call coverage, addressing patient questions, RN clinical inquiries, and occasional ED consults (minimal)
• Engage with available clinical trials (including Phase II/III) as appropriate for patient care
