ECU Health Physicians and the Department of Pediatrics at East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join their growing division. The Brody School of Medicine Hematology and Oncology division provides treatment and research opportunities for rare cancers and blood diseases including sickle cell, cancer and hemophilia as well as all hematologic disorders including disorders of the immune system.

Job Highlights include:

· Established division inclusive of 5 pediatric hematologists/oncologists, an oncology pharmacist, nurse specialists, dedicated research staff with a Pediatric Unified Research Enterprise team, and a strong psychosocial team made up of psychologists, child life specialists, and social workers

The James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital, located on the campus of ECU Health Medical Center, is designed to care for children from newborns to 18 years of age (and up to 21 years of age is patient is being followed by a pediatric physician).
