Pediatric Gastroenterologist Locums Job in North Carolina

Dates of assignment #69802: As soon as credentialed, ongoing during permanent recruitment. One day (8 hours) every-other week.

Details/Requirements:
-Inpatient and outpatient
-Established team of six physicians, one nurse practitioner/physician assistant, and six clinical staff
-130 licensed inpatient beds, a 10-bed outpatient pediatric medical day unit, and a 16-bed dedicated children’s emergency department
-Provider is responsible for the currently admitted patients and admissions from the Emergency Department
-No call
-Anticipated volumes/day: six to eight
-Average # of patients/day/provider: six to eight
-No ICU/Critical Care Duties
-System-wide EMR
-Procedures required: upper endoscopy with biopsy, colonoscopy with biopsy, and general outpatient pediatric gastroenterology procedures scheduled at Children’s Hospital
-May on occasion be required to perform a procedure in the Medical Center operating room
