Health System is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our team.

The Pediatric Endocrinology practice is embedded within the Pediatric Specialties department and currently consists of 1 MD, 1 NP CDE trained RNs and endocrine RNs. The team also has CDE trained dieticians, a social worker, and a psychologist with special interest in chronic health conditions available to them. The practice is well established in the region and it is a 100% pediatric endocrinology/diabetes practice.

Practice details:

  • Primarily outpatient practice/inpatient consults only
  • Patient volume/day: 7-10
  • 1:2 Call (plus hospitalist and general peds. support)
  • Clinic hours: 8-5

The Department of Pediatrics consists of 6 pediatric hospitalists, approximately 20 general pediatric providers (includes physicians and NP’s), 3 NICU physicians, 3 PICU physicians. Gundersen Health System has over 13 specialty areas that care for children. Housed within our pediatric specialties department is allergy/asthma/immunology, cardiology, endocrinology and diabetes, gastroenterology, genetics, learning and development, and child life. Pediatric inpatients are cared for primarily by a hospitalist on a beautiful new inpatient ward, which includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
