Job description
We are seeking a Pediatric Endocrinologist for a locum tenens position in Long Beach, CA. This is a locums to perm opportunity providing outpatient clinic coverage with inpatient rounding and call. Please see below for more information.
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Round in the hospital
Provide weeknight and weekend on-call coverage (ER, NICU, PICU, inpatient hospitalist consults)
Manage insulin pumps
Manage continuous glucose monitoring
Supervise infusion center performing stim testing and other endocrine tests
Conduct video visits as needed
Cover a week at a time, in general
Qualifications
Active California medical license
DEA
Working Hours
8-hour shifts (8:00 - 17:00)
Scheduled clinic hours plus on-call coverage required
