  • Other Details: We are seeking 1–2 pediatric endocrinologists, board-certified or board-eligible, with at least 2 years of experience and an active California medical license, to provide outpatient and inpatient care on a flexible weekly schedule. Providers will generally cover one week at a time, including half-day clinic sessions, rounding in the hospital, and availability for weeknight and weekend call from the ER, NICU, PICU, and inpatient teams. The role includes management of insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring, and supervision of infusion center procedures such as stimulation testing and other endocrine assessments. Candidates must have Epic EMR experience, a clean background and malpractice record, and local candidates are highly preferred. Newly finished fellowship-trained providers are welcome, and the schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility for video visits.

Job Responsibilities

* Provide outpatient pediatric endocrinology care, including half-day clinic sessions and video visits
* Round on inpatients, including NICU, PICU, and general pediatric floors
* Be available for weeknight and weekend call coverage from ER, NICU, PICU, and inpatient teams
* Manage insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring for patients
* Supervise infusion center procedures, including stimulation testing and other endocrine assessments
* Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR

Qualifications

* Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric endocrinology
* Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including fellowship training for early-career providers
* Active California medical license
* Clean background and malpractice record
* Local candidates highly preferred

Working Hours

* Typically covers one week at a time, including clinic, rounding, and call coverage
* Half-day clinic each day with flexibility for video visits
* Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with availability for weeknight and weekend calls
