A long-term Pediatric Endocrinology locum tenens opportunity is available in Alaska, offering a unique hybrid schedule that blends onsite clinical care with remote call coverage.
This 12-month assignment begins August 2026 and is ideal for physicians seeking consistency, flexibility, and a balanced practice model.
Schedule Overview:

2 weeks/month: Onsite clinic + call

2 weeks/month: Remote call (offsite)

Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Call includes weekday nights and 24-hour weekend coverage

Remote weeks include 24-hour call with a 20-minute response time
Practice Details:

Outpatient clinic + inpatient consults

Average 15 patients per day

Level II pediatric facility
-
No admissions required
-
Strong support team including multiple APPs, RNs, and MAs

EMR: Epic
Requirements:

Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology

Active Alaska license (or ability to obtain; temporary license available)

ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
