A long-term Pediatric Endocrinology locum tenens opportunity is available in Alaska, offering a unique hybrid schedule that blends onsite clinical care with remote call coverage.

This 12-month assignment begins August 2026 and is ideal for physicians seeking consistency, flexibility, and a balanced practice model.

Schedule Overview:

  • 2 weeks/month: Onsite clinic + call

  • 2 weeks/month: Remote call (offsite)

  • Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Call includes weekday nights and 24-hour weekend coverage

  • Remote weeks include 24-hour call with a 20-minute response time

Practice Details:

  • Outpatient clinic + inpatient consults

  • Average 15 patients per day

  • Level II pediatric facility

  • No admissions required

  • Strong support team including multiple APPs, RNs, and MAs

  • EMR: Epic

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Pediatric Endocrinology

  • Active Alaska license (or ability to obtain; temporary license available)

  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

This is an excellent opportunity for a provider seeking a structured, long-term assignment with a mix of in-person and remote responsibilities.
