Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pediatric Endocrinology - Urban AK
Location: Urban Alaska
Job Type: Locum Tenens 1099 Contract
Date Range: August 1st, 2026 - August 1st, 2027
This position is posted as a Vendor Management System bid opportunity and is subject to standard vendor submission and evaluation processes.
We are looking for 2 Physicians!
Schedule: Mix of Outpatient, Telehealth & Inpatient
- 2 weeks per month in clinic (Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) + weekday night call + 24-hr weekend call coverage
- 2 weeks per month virtual hospital call coverage (24-hour call)
- Overtime after 40 clinical hours/week
Compensation:
- $240.00 hourly rate, clinic
- $237.00 hourly rate, weekday night call
- $300.00 hourly rate, call-back
- $300.00 hourly rate, overtime
- $1800.00 flat rate, 24-hour call shifts
Responsibilities:
- Averages 15 patients per shift patients per clinic shift
Requirements:
- Active Alaska State Physician (MD/DO) License (or willingness to obtain AK license)
- Board Certified
- Active BLS, ACLS & PALS
- Active DEA registration
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
