Pediatric Endocrinology opening in Detroit, MI (Permanent) This is a permanent position. Opportunity Details: Full-time employed opportunity within a large, established pediatric endocrinology division Blend of academic and clinical responsibilities Inpatient and outpatient coverage, with minimum of 6 half-day clinics per week Shared call schedule with division members, including weekends and holidays Faculty appointment with teaching responsibilities in one of the largest pediatric residency programs in the country Collaborative care with subspecialties including neurosurgery, cardiology, nephrology, hematology/oncology, immunology, and gastroenterology Division Overview: Team includes 5 pediatric endocrinologists, 7 diabetes nurse educators, 6 endocrine nurses, 2 dietitians, and a social worker Strong multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered approach Opportunities to contribute to medical education and academic growth Requirements: MD or DO degree Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology required Eligible for Michigan medical license Interest in academics and medical education preferred Compensation/Benefits: Competitive salary with relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement Malpractice coverage included CME allowance and paid time off Location: Detroit, MI offers a diverse community with cultural, educational, and recreational opportunities Affordable cost of living compared to other major metros Access to professional sports, music, arts, and revitalized downtown neighborhoods Close to the Great Lakes for year-round outdoor recreation
