Practice & Cases
- 100 percent pediatric emergency medicine
- Critically ill neonates and complex multisystem conditions
- Endotracheal intubation and lumbar puncture
- UAC, UVC, arterial access, and chest tube placement
Schedule
- Day, evening, and night shifts available
- Eight-hour shift structure
- Coverage across multiple pediatric emergency departments
- Physicians are generally assigned to two or three locations
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship training required
- Arizona license or active IMLC LOQ required with ATLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA
