Job Responsibilities
Provide care in an 8-bed pediatric ED, with ability to flex to 12 beds
Manage ~13,000 annual pediatric visits
Work alongside full pediatric subspecialty support
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based pediatric emergency care
Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s EMR
Qualifications
Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
5+ years experience in a community-based pediatric ED
Clinically active within the past 12 months
Must complete required Prescreen Questionnaire
CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
Rates must follow internal compensation structure
Nevada license or IMLC eligibility required
Skills
Expertise in pediatric emergency care across a broad range of conditions
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Proficient in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking
Familiarity with EMR systems and accurate patient documentation
Comfortable providing care in a community hospital ED setting
Excellent communication and patient/family interaction skills
