A Level IV Trauma Center, St. David's Children's Center is a separate dedicated 370-bed hospital with a ten-bed emergency department, eight-bed medical surgical inpatient unit and a six-bed pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). It provides patients with a wide array of pediatric services and specialties.

Position Highlights:

- Approximately 25k volume ED
- Less than 2 patients per clinical hour
- Experienced APC coverage
- Double and triple boarded pediatric emergency medicine physicians
- Child life and other professionals specifically trained in pediatrics
- ABEM, ABOEM or ABP w/PEM fellowship certified or eligible
- TX medical license or in the process of obtaining one
