Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for the role of Facility Medical Director at CHIPPENHAM PEDIATRIC ER located in Richmond, VA. This leadership opportunity will oversee a growing (established) team of clinicians and advanced practice clinicians.

Qualified Candidates:

As Facility Medical Director (FMD) you will work closely in a peer "dyad" with the Regional Medical Director, Vice President of Operations and a dedicated Provider Services Team.
  • The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in physician leadership, with current experience in clinical practice and exceptional clinical skills.
  • We are seeking leaders who have a commitment to quality, operational and financial management experience, along with the ability to foster collaborative relationships with team physician and hospital leadership physicians.
  • Must be residency trained in emergency medicine or pediatrics fellowship training in pediatric medicine
  • Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
