BE/BC - PEDS/Emergency Medicine Physician
Stable 30-member department along with 10 PAs seeing 85K patients per year (roughly 15k pediatric patients per year)
Pediatric cases include minor acute illness and injuries
24-hour in-house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, 22-member Hospitalist Department, OB-GYN and Trauma Surgery
Pediatric subspecialty support includes: Critical Care, Neurology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, and Developmental-Behavioral, Genetics, Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Cardiology
Established Pediatric ICU - Pediatric unit features 18 private rooms, 8 isolation and protective environment beds, fully equipped minor procedure room
14,000 square foot expansion completed in 2014 added 17 additional acute beds, ultrasound room in dedicated ED
Radiology suite with state-of-the art imaging equipment
Air medical transport stationed around the clock on-site ready for departure in minutes
Emergency Department has routinely scored in the 90th percentile in Press Ganey customer satisfaction among its peers
Centrally located two hours from Chicago and Indianapolis and three hours from St. Louis
