Job Overview – Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD):
Compensation: $40/hour
Location: Burlington County, NJ
Schedule: Saturday to Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Deliver compassionate care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD) in Burlington County, NJ with our client, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this weekend shift role, you’ll administer medications, coordinate care plans, assist with daily living activities, and maintain a safe, supportive residential setting. Use your LPN license, behavior management training, and documentation expertise to make a lasting impact on patient well-being.

Responsibilities as the Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD):
- Direct Nursing & Medication Support: Provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications, and complete accurate documentation.
- Daily Living Assistance: Support individuals with hygiene, mobility, meals, and daily routines to enhance well-being.
- Medical Oversight & Appointments: Coordinate care by attending medical visits and implementing prescribed treatments.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Monitor for safety, complete incident reports, and uphold regulatory standards.
- Staff Training & Collaboration: Train support staff on health procedures and collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with LPN certification.
- Licensure: Active LPN license in the State of New Jersey.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy with the ability to accurately complete digital documentation and internal forms.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with medication administration, behavior documentation, and state-mandated health and safety protocols.
- Skills & Attributes: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while ensuring compliance, patient dignity, and timely care.
- Additional Requirements: Valid NJ driver’s license with clean driving record required.
