Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician (Less than 20 to Palo Alto)

Provide medical evaluations as part of the assessment process to determine eligibility for potential clients and provide consultation on medical matters to Social Workers and other staff in their ongoing efforts to serve clients.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to interpret issues/symptoms clients share and ability to interpret medical terms, symptoms, and diagnoses into a language understood by case managers and other staff
- Ability to be an accurate observer of (developmental) behavior in children
- Ability to operate essential office equipment, including scanners, copiers, faxes, phones, and basic familiarity with MS Word®, MS Excel®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook® or similar software applications
- Ability to build partnerships and trusts through collaboration, active listening, and an openness to new ideas
- Ability to operate with the understanding of working within the context of a larger team, not as a private practice clinician
- Understand and effectively react/adapt to multiple and competing priorities on the job; use knowledge and expertise to focus on crucial job outcomes. Familiarity with Lanterman and Early Start Regulations and client resources
