-- Bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL)
-- Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
-- Insertion of Central and Arterial lines
-- Insertion of PA Catheter
-- Exchange transfusion
-- EKG interpretation (unofficial)
-- Temporary pacemaker
-- ICP evaluation & management
-- ICP monitor placement
-- Hemodialysis catheter placement
-- Diagnostic/therapeutic taps
-- Lumbar puncture
-- Paracentesis
-- Thoracentesis
-- Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff)
-- Ventilation Management (both Acute and Chronic) for newborn and pediatrics
-- Intubation (ETT/NT) for newborn and pediatrics
-- Conscious and deep sedation

-- Needle pneumothorax
-- Decompression
-- X-ray and EKG interpretation
-- Suturing minor lacerations
-- Circumcision
-- Swallow studies

-- Duties include admissions and rounding

-- Patients per shift: 8-12
-- Beds in department: 8
-- EMR: Cerner
-- PEDs Level: 2
-- Facility Trauma Level: 2
-- Provider will be required to supervise Advanced Practice Providers
-- Resident or teaching supervision required
-- RN support: 1:1 - 3:1
-- PA/NP support: 2
-- Average phone consults per 24 hours: 5
-- Patients seen on call: 8
-- Call back percentage: 25
-- Admissions on call: 2
