Schedule: Clinical coverage plus beeper call
Practice Setting: Inpatient Pediatric Critical Care
Patient Volume: 8-12 patients per shift
Beds: 8-bed PICU
EMR: Cerner
Licensing: Active Indiana license required; BC/BE Pediatric Critical Care; fellowship required
Credentialing: 45-60 days; temporary privileges available
Required Certifications: BLS and PALS
Required Skills: Pediatric critical care, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, intubation, ECMO, nitric oxide therapy, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, central and arterial lines, lumbar punctures, conscious/deep sedation, ICP management, and EKG/X-ray interpretation.
Other Key Details: Level II Trauma and Pediatric Center, admissions required, APP and resident supervision responsibilities, strong RN support with 2 APPs onsite, and ongoing coverage needs due to vacancy. Multiple providers may be considered.
