We are seeking a Locum Tenens Critical Care Pediatric Physician in Flagstaff, AZ.
Shift: 24-hour call with morning rounds; 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Start Date: October 26, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details:
- Pediatric ICU coverage
- Minimum 1 week of coverage per month
- 7–15 patients per day
- 5 years of PICU experience required
- AZ license required; IMLC preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Patient Population: Pediatric patients, ages 0–18; PICU and pediatric patients
Setting: Inpatient
Type of Healthcare Facility: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Provide pediatric critical care coverage
- Conduct morning rounds
- Provide 24-hour call coverage
- Manage PICU and pediatric patients
Required Procedures: Coding
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: NPs available onsite during the day and evening
Days Per Month: Minimum 1 week per month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call coverage
Requirements:
- AZ license or IMLC
- Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics and 5 years of PICU experience
- DEA, BLS, PALS
