• Required Procedures:
- Peds: Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff), Ventilation Mgmt (Newborn): Acute & Chronic.
- Ventilation Mgmt (Peds): Acute & Chronic.
- Intubation (ETT/NT): Newborns & Peds
- Conscious & Deep sedation, Central & Arterial lines, UVC, UAC, Lumbar puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis.
- Chest tube insertion, Needle pneumothorax: Decompression, X-ray & EKG interpretation.
- Exchange transfusion, Suturing minor lacerations and Swallow studied.
- Ped Critical Care: Venilation Mgmt: Invasive, Non-Invasive & Familiarity w/ use of nitric oxcide (iNO), Chest tube insertion, Eval & mgmt of acute volume/BP issues, Insertion of Central & Arterial lines
- Insertion of PA Catheter, ICP evaluation & Mgmt, Hemodialysis catheter placement & Diagnostic/therapeutic taps.
• Support Staff: 1-2 RNs
• Beds in the Dept: 5
• Trauma Level: IV
• EMR: Epic
• Temporary Privileges available: Yes

Requirements:
• Active TX License
• BC/BE
• BLS, ABLS, PALS
