JOB DESCRIPTION:
Excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Critical Care Specialist in beautiful North Carolina. Must be BC in Pediatrics or BE/BC in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine with formal fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. We offer Top Tier Compensation and generous, extensive benefits.

The pediatric intensive care unit serves the critical needs of medical, surgical, and trauma patients in the pediatric department. The pediatric floor is a mixed medical and surgical unit. The service covers both the PICU and the pediatric floor with assistance from physician assistants, residents, and students. Coverage is in-house during the day and on-call overnight. Full-time coverage is 10 24-hour shifts per month.

Well-established and well-respected healthcare system. Numerous residency programs, including Internal Med, Emergency Med, OBGYN, Psych, Cardiology, Ortho, and more. One of the busiest EDs in the country with a dedicated Pediatric ED.
Level III Trauma Center. Level III NICU. Robust Hospitalist service. State of the art facility and comprehensive programs. Many academic opportunities, if desired.
