Pediatric Cardiologist Needed for Thriving Southeast Metro!
Huntsville Hospital Health System is looking to establish a new pediatric cardiology program in our growing community to include an outpatient practice with consultative inpatient services. The employed position offers a very competitive compensation package with base salary plus productivity and quality incentives. Huntsville Hospital System is one of the largest non-profit healthcare systems in the nation with 975 beds serving all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee and includes both the Hospital for Women & Children and the Heart Center.
Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children is a stand-alone facility dedicated to caring for women, infants, children, and adolescents. The hospital offers the region's most comprehensive and experienced maternal and child health programs averaging over 4,500 births a year and 16,000 admissions annually. Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children is the only one of its kind in the region with a Level III NICU, a 15 Bed PICU, a pediatric surgery program, a 16-bed Pediatric ER and a 36-bed Pediatric Inpatient facility with pediatric hospitalists. It is home to one of 8 St. Jude Children's
Research Hospital affiliate clinics for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. There are also teaching opportunities with UAB MS3/MS4 and Family Medicine
Residents on campus.
Huntsville Hospital Heart Center is a large and well established ntegrated practice with 60 cardiovascular physicians and surgeons across seven locations. The practice provides 80,000 clinic visits a year and is responsible for the heart health of 105,000 lives in the region. It is recognized as a Top 100 Hospital with Great Heart Programs by Becker's Hospital Review and a 5 star hospital for cardiac surgery from Healthgrades.
