Job Summary
Cooperative Health is seeking mission-minded, compassionate Pediatric Physicians to join its dedicated medical staff. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care to children and young adults, addressing their physical, emotional, and mental health needs. Physicians will also provide family planning services and assist patients and families in accessing community resources to support holistic health outcomes.
Positions are available on both full-time and part-time bases across well-established rural and urban practices. All physicians work in an office-based, Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) setting. Integrated support from in-office Behavioral Health and Social Service team members is available at many locations.

Job Responsibilities
•Assist patients in the completion of paperwork related to their clinical and patient care
•Perform clinical procedures based upon skill set and training
•Be knowledgeable of and engage patients on population health clinical quality measures
•Engage, educate, and empower patients to take control of their personal health
•Coordinate care of the patient with members of the clinical team
•Responds to patient messages from support staff and other members of the office team
•Periodically serves as a preceptor for professional clinical students
•Attends Cooperative Health meetings and participate in all trainings
Qualifications
•Completion of four (3) years of post-graduate medical residency training in Pediatrics
•Must have an active (or plan to have an active) South Carolina license that is in good standing
•Must have (or plan to have) a current DEA and South Carolina controlled substance registration
•Current BLS certification (if ACLS certified, the BLS certification is waved)
Working Hours
• Periodic early evening hours
• Weeknight/weekend telephone call
