The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at ProHEALTH is currently undergoing significant growth, expansion, and opportunity. We are seeking an individual with general pathology experience - various fellowship experiences including but not limited to hematopathology, molecular genetic pathology, and surgical pathology will be considered. A general pathologist who is willing to signout and provide service in select areas of general anatomic and clinical pathology and collaborate with senior laboratory administration in quality management. This position will be based in Lake Success, NY.

Experience:

•Pathologist with 1-3 plus years’ post-fellowship experience preferred (New and recent graduates will be considered).

•Strong diagnostics skills and experience in breast pathology, general anatomic pathology, and laboratory medicine

•Ability to work as a part of a collaborative and collegial group of pathologists and laboratory professional

•Preferred experience with general pathology, frozen section / intraoperative consultation

Requirements:

•Medical Degree •Must hold valid unrestricted license to practice medicine in New York •Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology •Current NYSDOH Certificate of Qualification or ability to obtain a NYSDOH Certificate of Qualification in relevant categories of interest
