The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the Brody School of Medicine is seeking a surgical pathologist for a full-time fixed term faculty position at the title of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher. New grads are encouraged to apply.

Highlights include:

  • Join a well-established academic practice with five other surgical pathologists
  • Provide clinical services including surgical pathology service responsibilities, participate in medical student/resident education and clinical research
  • Approximately 19,000 surgical and 7,000 cytology cases including 1,300 fine needle aspirates are accessioned into the department annually
  • The department houses residency, cytopathology, forensic pathology and surgical pathology fellowship programs
  • Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
  • Fixed-term faculty position

Qualifications:

  • MD degree from an accredited institution.
  • AP or AP/CP board eligible or board certified
  • Expertise and/or fellowship in a surgical pathology subspecialty including gross supervision, and intraoperative diagnosis/frozen section
