Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) is seeking an Pathologist in Pennsylvania. Must be Board Certified with a Pennsylvania license.

Practice information- Starting in September or October until a permanent Pathologist is hired. Qualifications: Board Certified – Physician must be able to handle the full case mix without exceptions. Will give heavy preference for physicians who are as local as possible, but will consider anyone who is BC and can handle the full case mix. M-F 8a-5p - No weekends and no call. Busy practice. hospital-.Solo pathologist with 2 cytotechs and 3 histotechs. One in the hospital and the other in an offsite lab. Simple grossing done by histotechs; complex cases done by pathologist (uterus, colon, breast excisions, kidneys, etc.). Case mix includes: frozens, hematology, GI, breast, paps, non-GYN cyto, occasional FNA (RAD performs). Around 25 discreet surgical patients/day. No neuro. No bone marrows required. PA license is required. No DEA required. EMR – Meditech. Volume: 6500 surgicals annually. There are no autopsies. Compensation is by-weekly and direct deposit. Lodging and Travel provided and arranged. Medical Doctor Associates provides A++ Professional Malpractice Insurance.
