Well-supported locum Pathology opportunity in a hospital-based laboratory with no call and no weekends. This assignment offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule for 3–6 months, working alongside an experienced pathology team with modern diagnostic equipment—ideal for pathologists seeking stability and work-life balance ⚖️
Job Responsibilities
• Perform general anatomic and surgical pathology
• Interpret cytology specimens, including GYN cytology
• Conduct frozen section analysis and gross specimens
• Collaborate with on-site pathologists and lab professionals
• Ensure accurate and timely diagnostic reporting using EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology
• Active New York State medical license
• Strong experience in surgical pathology and cytology
• Ability to independently gross specimens and cut frozen sections
• Clean background and current NPDB self-query
Working Hours
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No nights, no weekends, no call ⏰
