Excellent locum-to-perm Pathology opportunity in a hospital-based laboratory setting. This role offers weekday-only hours, no call, and the potential to transition into a permanent position after 3–6 months. Work alongside an experienced pathology team with modern equipment and a steady, manageable case volume 🌟
Job Responsibilities
• Perform general anatomic pathology and surgical pathology
• Handle frozen section analysis and cytology interpretation
• Gross specimens and cut frozen sections independently
• Collaborate with on-site pathologists and laboratory staff
• Ensure accurate, timely diagnostic reporting using EMR systems
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology
• Active New York State medical license
• Proficiency in surgical pathology and cytology
• Cytology proficiency for GYN cytology (ThinPrep)
• Clean background and current NPDB self-query
Working Hours
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No nights, no weekends, no call ⏰
