  • Work Dates Needed: As soon as accepted, and credentialing and security clearance, for one base year, plus one option year
  • Preferred Schedule: M-F, 8:30a-5p (no weekends, holidays, or OT)
  • Worksite Setting: Veteran Healthcare facility
  • Scope of Work:
    • effectively apply all aspects of Anatomic Pathology Care for Veterans,
    • No autopsy expectation;
    • 100-150 surgical pathology cases per month;
    • Work alongside 3 other surgical pathologists;
    • Mainly GI, GU, lung, head/neck and basic skin biopsies;
    • Frozen section interpretations, but no other subspecialty needed
  • Licenses, Certifications,
    • Requirements: Full unrestricted license any state;
    • possess medical degree (MD) or an equivalent degree resulting from course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine,
    • Shall be Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology from the American Society for Clinical Pathology,
    • Must have 5 years experience within the past three years (exceptions may be considered for those with other strong experience);
  • EMR: VISTA/CPRS
