Locum to Perm Physician - Pathology
Position Type: Locum to Perm
Specialty: Physician - Pathology
Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMn
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Hospital-Based Pathology Laboratory
Responsibilities: General anatomic pathology including surgical pathology, frozen section analysis, and cytology; specimen grossing; frozen section preparation; cytology review; collaboration with pathology team.
Required Procedures: Surgical Pathology, Cytology, Frozen Sections
EMR System: EPIC/Beaker
Support Staff: 4 Physicians, 5 Histotechnologists, 1 Pathology Assistant, 2 Cytotechnologists
Days Per Month: Monday–Friday Schedule
On-Call/Weekends: None
Submission Requirements:
- AP Board Certified
- Active New York State License
- NPDB Self-Query Report (Current Month)
