Job description
A hospital-based pathology laboratory in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic Pathologist for 3–6 months of coverage. The locum provider will join a collaborative team of 4 pathologists and will be responsible for general anatomic pathology services including surgical pathology, frozen sections, and cytology.
Other pathologists will be present during coverage. No supervision of other providers is required.

Surgical Pathology
Frozen Section Analysis (cutting own frozen sections)
Cytology (GYN proficiency exam required)
Grossing own specimens

Cryostat: Avantik QS12UV, Avantik QS II

Qualifications
Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology (AP) – Required
Active New York State License – Required
Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the same month as submission) – Required
Cytology proficiency exam required for GYN cytology
