Job description Pathologist opportunity in Oswego, NY About the Opportunity: Located 20 miles from Syracuse Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Anatomic and Clinical-Pathologic to join a growing service in a full-time capacity This role will consist of overseeing the operation of the anatomic pathology and laboratory, including monitoring competency policies for staff and promoting a safe laboratory environment. Additionally, the incoming physician with advise on the clinical significance of lab findings and ensure test reports include proper context. Increased census with adding new services and clinicians; currently 1 full time physician who would like to eventually drop to part time with the addition of full time physician Types of Procedures/Cases: General Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology in a community hospital-based health system. Brewer General Laboratory experience is preferred. No call is required Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30p Visa candidates are accepted Compensation and Benefits Highly competitive salary range of $370 - $390k Sign-on bonus (25k), reimbursement for relocation (up to $10k with receipts) and student loans ($30k over length of contract) (if applicable) Competitive paid time off and CME time off (34 days including 6 legal holidays) Comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, 403B, life and disability Annual CME, dues and licensure reimbursement ($5,500) Malpractice paid for Location Located in New York State's Central region, Oswego offers small city living with close proximity to many large metropolitan areas.
