HCA Healthcare Pathology Services and the East Florida Division are seeking a Pathology Medical Director for a dynamic 423-bed hospital located in the heart of Miami—one of the most sought-after cities in the world for culture, lifestyle, and clinical opportunity.

Qualified Candidates

  • AP/CP Board Certification required
  • Two years of hospital-based Medical Director experience preferred
  • Experience performing frozen sections
  • Recent general surgical pathology and clinical laboratory interpretation experience
  • Active Florida license or FCVS profile preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Practice Structure & Case Mix

Join a three-pathologist practice with a collaborative environment and a diverse range of cases.

  • 10,000 annual cases (surgical pathology, cytology, and bone marrow combined)
  • No gyn cytology
  • No autopsy responsibilities
  • Medical directorship includes oversight for the hospital laboratory and associated Free-Standing Emergency Department labs
