This is a strong long-term Pathology locums opportunity in Billings, Montana offering consistent weekday coverage with beeper call responsibilities and a steady surgical pathology case mix. The site is seeking a full-time provider to support an ongoing vacancy need, with the preference for one pathologist to cover the assignment, though split coverage may be considered. Job Responsibilities
• Interpret and sign out diagnostic pathology cases
• Support cytology including GYN and Non GYN cases
• Participate in frozen section coverage as needed
• Provide beeper call coverage nights and weekends
• Collaborate with Pathologist Assistants on workflow support
Qualifications
• Board Certified required
• Board Certification must match specialty
• BLS required
• Comfortable managing up to 30 cases per day
• Experience in surgical pathology required
Working Hours
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00a to 5:00p
• Night Call: Beeper call 7:00p to 7:00a
• Weekend Call: 24-hour beeper call 7:00a to 7:00a
• Case Volume: Up to 30 cases per day
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
