What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with Board Certification or Eligibility in Pathology
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Proven experience in diagnostic pathology, including handling a high volume of diverse cases
- Proficiency in frozen specimen analysis and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedures
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and professional judgment
Additional Skills that Are a Plus:
- Experience with IR (Interventional Radiology) procedures
- Prior experience in a fast-paced clinical lab setting
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency experience in a clinical pathology setting
- Previous involvement in similar case volumes and types
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start as soon as possible, with availability to commit to a 3-month contract (with potential extension)
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Travel reimbursement or certification requirements as applicable
- Certification in relevant specialties and active licensing
