A high-demand Pathology locums opportunity is now available in Harlingen, Texas for a Board Certified physician seeking consistent weekday work with call coverage.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Anatomic and Clinical Pathology coverage
• Perform surgical pathology case review and diagnostic interpretation
• Support gynecologic and surgical pathology needs
• Interpret cytology including GYN and non GYN specimens
• Review hematopathology cases including bone marrow and lymph node specimens
• Provide frozen section grossing and cutting as needed
• Support blood bank and laboratory services as applicable
• Participate in call coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• Board Certified Pathology required
• Active Texas medical license required
• Comfortable with Anatomic and Clinical Pathology coverage
• Strong surgical pathology experience required
• Gynecologic pathology focus highly desired

Working Hours

• Start: ASAP
• Ongoing coverage
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Call coverage required after hours
• Weekend and holiday call required
• Call Type: In house
