We are seeking a highly qualified Pathologist specializing in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology to elevate our diagnostic services and patient care. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic healthcare environment, utilizing your expertise to support hospital pathology departments and improve clinical outcomes.

In this position, you will be responsible for diagnosing a wide range of pathological conditions, with a particular focus on Gynecologic and surgical pathology. You will work within a collaborative team, located at a well-equipped hospital setting, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and quality in pathology reporting. This role operates during traditional hospital hours, with on-call responsibilities after hours, on weekends, and on holidays, providing a comprehensive and satisfying professional experience.

Required Skills:
  • Board certification in Pathology (ABP or equivalent)
  • Proven expertise in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • Strong diagnostic skills in Gynecologic and Surgical Pathology
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Subspecialty certifications or experience in Gynecologic Pathology
  • Prior experience in hospital or academic settings
  • Knowledge of molecular diagnostics and laboratory management
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited pathology residency program
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in pathology
  • Active medical license in the state of practice

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for hospital shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with on-call duties as scheduled
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations
  • Commitment to maintaining certified licensure and certifications
  • Willingness to adhere to all hospital and regulatory protocols
