In this role, you will interpret complex tissue and fluid specimens, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide accurate diagnoses that directly impact patient outcomes. Your specialization in Gynecologic and Surgical Pathology will be particularly valued, contributing to advanced diagnostic processes and enhancing our department’s capabilities.

Required Skills:
  • Board certification in Pathology (AP/CP or AP and CP dual certification)
  • Proven expertise in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
  • In-depth knowledge of gynecologic and surgical pathology
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Subspecialty certifications or additional training in Gynecologic Pathology
  • Experience in a hospital or academic medical center
  • Familiarity with digital pathology systems
  • Participation in research or academic publications related to pathology

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree with valid medical license
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-residency experience in pathology
  • Prior experience with on-call responsibilities and hospital-based workflows

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to comply with hospital policies and protocols
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call duties, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid licensure and certification for practice in the jurisdiction
  • Commitment to continual professional development
