On-Site | Day Schedule | No Call | 13-Week Assignment
A healthcare system supporting community hospitals in Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified AP/CP Pathologist (MD/DO) for a 13-week locums assignment starting March 2, 2026. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule, strong support staff, and a broad anatomic pathology case mix.

9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

No evening, weekend, or autopsy responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities

Grossing biopsies and moderately complex resections
-
Assisting with highly complex resections as needed
-
Frozen section services
-
FNA procedures for adequacy

Anatomic Pathology sign-out
-
Some Non-GYN Cytology (board verification preferred, not required)
Case Mix & Volume
-
Approximately 13,000–15,000 cases annually
-
Heavy anatomic pathology volume
-
Significant cytology exposure including head & neck cases
-
Specimens received from three hospitals within the health system
Practice Environment

On-site role (remote reading not an option)

Typically two pathologists covering service

Anatomic Pathology Technologist

Patient Population

Ages 18+ (includes tonsillectomy specimens, so all ages represented)
Provider Requirements

Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology AND Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)

Board Eligibility not accepted

Active state license required

DEA not required
Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
