This locum tenens assignment offers work across multiple sites with a focus on case readout completion. You will be part of a supportive team with opportunities for on-call rotations for critical cases and potential extension into a permanent role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide pathology services focusing on anatomic and clinical specialties.
  • Perform in-office professional sign-outs alongside other pathologists.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for critical testing results or cases.
  • Engage in Medical Director responsibilities if the coverage is extended.

Qualifications

  • WA Pathology License required
  • Board Certification required
  • Hemepath certification and bone marrow sign-out ability preferred for specific roles
  • Proficiency in various pathology sub-specialties preferred

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a focus on case readout completion
  • Participation in on-call rotation (1:4 for critical cases)

Skills

  • Expertise in surgical pathology, cytology, and grossing or cutting frozen sections
  • Specialization in hematopathology and pediatric tumor pathology preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills for accurate case evaluations and sign-outs
