Pathology Opportunity – Hospital-Employed Group
Location: Quad Cities, IA
Employment Type: Full Time, permanent position
Position Highlights
* Join a collegial group of general, hospital-based Pathologists
* Team includes 6 Pathologists and 2 Pathology Assistants
* Oversight of community hospitals and several critical access sites
* Caseload includes biopsies, complex resections, and non-GYN cytology
* No GYN cytology performed
* Frozen section coverage and fine needle aspiration adequacy assessments required
* Autopsies rarely performed
* Cytopathology or GI training viewed favorably but not required
Responsibilities
* Provide both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology services
* Participate in clinical lab management
* Attend multidisciplinary tumor boards
* Maintain strong communication and collaborative relationships with clinical colleagues
Requirements
* Board certified or board eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
